Current Eyeshadows Lemmings…
Something’s in the air tonight and something’s in the way eyeshadows grab my attention lately. Have I ever told you lately that I have a lemming for a couple or a few eyeshadow palettes? Yes, I’m into palettes lately, those you can grab and go, travel friendly and everyday anyday kind of use.
First we have…
Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette
I love Urban Decay eyeshadows, I do. I now have 2 of their palettes and this palette would be just perfect in terms of best of both worlds as it has the pops of colors yet have the neutral smoky everyday anyday anytime colors. The packaging of it wins a place in my heart too.
Then we have…
Chanel Eyeshadow Quad in Topkapi
Chocolates! Haha… They look like beautiful dark chocolate, milk chocolate, golden chocolate… haha… I believe this is from the Fall 2011 collection. These colors are so yummy… the classic colors that I can see myself going back to for years to come. Boring, you may say, but see the swatches (see temptalia) and to me, they scream out “delicious!”
Aaanndd…
Inglot 10 Squares Eyeshadow Palette
Filled – not empty haha… well, this would be quite an ultimate palette, won’t it – when I finally decide what colors to fill it with. A highlighter, an eyebrow color perhaps, a contour, an all over lid color, dash of color here there… hehehe anyway, I just love the fact that you’re given the choice for a reasonable price for such quality. Either this… or …
this… They have another pan of 8 but I’m on the fence whether to get a set of 8 or a set of 4, a quad might work quite nice rather than 8. I really like their color pro – the quality and the pigmentation and the longevity are just stunning, in my opinion. This, however, what I really like about their “color pro” line is that they can be eyeshadows, they can be blushes, they can also be used on your lips (well, if you really need to) and on your brows if the color is right. That’s why they’re called color pro, instead of simply eyeshadows or blushes.
Well… that’s it, really. I’m loving having the palette ready to go and it’s much easier to choose from when you’re applying your makeup, or applying makeup to someone else. By now, I’ve also come to be rather picky with what eyeshadows I like, what blushes I like, things like that, y’know…
Oh, and guess what, Inglot and Gorgeous Cosmetics will be in IMATS Sydney this September. I shall wait till then! Squeeal!
xoxo
