Face of Australia Lip Quench Moisturising Lipstick SPF 30+ NEW Shades - Mocha Latte and Peaches & Cream
Boy, was that not a mouthful. I have not even included “with shea butter and jojoba oil and vitamin E'” part.
As most of you in Australia would be familiar with, or those who aren’t, Face of Australia is definitely an Australian brand that has honestly been climbing up the mountain in the past couple or so years. They have improved, so so so much. Not just a little frog hop, but a kangaroo leap in terms of their qualities and products range.
Already they have 12 shades in this lipstick range. Now they are releasing 2 new shades – aptly named Mocha Latte and Peaches & Cream. Although, I must admit, I keep having to retype Peaches & Cream because I want to call it Strawberries & Cream instead. The shade reminds me of Strawberries & Cream rather than Peaches, y’know. So, Strawberries, I mean Peaches & Cream. You’ll see what I mean in a sec.
Face of Australia claims
Enrichsed with natural moisturisers and emollients including Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E & Shea Butter, this rich, creamy lipstick provides beautiful colour in a hydrating formula that protects your lips from harmful UV rays.
Now I must inform you that Australian sun is indeed an unforgiving son-of-a-b**** cruel kind of sun. No sunscreen, no slip, slop, slap and you either turn to char or a boiled crab, red, peeling, raw sunburn. Not. Cool. The addition of the SPF 30+ in this lipstick is handy, so I suppose this lipstick is best worn during daytime. Though of course, they are lipsticks after all, you can of course wear them at night time. Whatever suits you.
Texture – creamy and moisturising. They sure have done well with this. Smooth and even colour is what you would get. They are emollient without being too greasy or slippery. Nice.
Now do you see why I been calling that shade Strawberries & Cream?
