Lush goes EGG-static over EASTER-tastic Collection 2014
This Easter, Lush brings you a super cute, generous collection ranging from bunnies, eggs to carrots and all that jazz! I’m actually super keen to check it out when it is launched in store and online nationwide on April 3rd. Let’s get on to it shall we?
First, we have Golden Egg bath melt ballistic ($6.50)
This is a brand new invention – an egg shaped bath bomb coated in bath melt mixture. Its outer layer dissolves first when you first place it in the water. It sinks to the bottom of the bathtub at first, then pops to the surface as the fizzing centre is revealed. The outer bath melt mix is made using Colombian Peace Village cocoa butter and olive oil from permaculture project in Palestine. The scent is of the Honey I Washed the Kids. Definitely inspired by the chocolate cream eggs. Yum!
Keep reading to find out more in store this April!
Second we have another new bath item called Bunny bubble bar ($5.95)
These are cute! Little white rabbit bubble bars, made with a similar mix to a bubbleroons, of shea butter and coconut oil. This can be broken in half and used in over two baths. Efficient!
Inspired by the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, these little cuties have a pink tummy that contains little cornstarch flowers to float in your bath water. The scent is of Creamy Candy.
Next, is Carrot soap ($6.95 for 100g)
Oh my Lord! How amazing does this look! I already want it! Carrot! How clever!
So this is a carrot-shaped soap with a bunny hiding in every slice. Another… OMG moment here. The orange part is made with carrot oil; while the white bunny is made with cocoa butter. Moisturising and softening all in one – yes, please!
The fragrance is fruity, as it is made with essential oils such as buchu, lemon and bergamot – not just plain carrot… lol.
Bunch of Carrots re-useable bubble bars ($9.95)
Does this not remind you of those Lindt chocolate carrot sticks!? Hahahaha… Warning, do not consume.
This is back from last year, this time in a bunch of three smaller carrots. Each can be used quicker when it is at its freshest, which is what we like best. As a re-useable bubble bar, place it under the running taps to create lots of bubbles, then pop it aside for another time. This is fragranced with the same fruity essential oils as the Carrot soap, including the carrot oil. Ooh la la!
Brightside bubble bar is next in line ($10.50)
Bright and cheerful, swirls of sunshine, this is just… look at it! Makes me smile already and I haven’t even smelled it or seen it in person. This is scented with a trio of uplifting and invigorating oils of Sicilian mandarin, tangerine and bergamot oil, with a little squeeze of lemon. Quite a cocktail I must say.
Crumble this under running taps and watch as the water turns into a hazy red and orange sunset with frothy white clouds of bubbles… warm and fuzzy feeling already!
Next, we have Fluffy Egg bath ballistic ($5.50)
This sweetie scented pink egg is adorned with a candy flower. It is like bathing in a bubbling mass of marshmallow, candy floss and jelly bean scented water. Candy galore! You can get your sugar fix without anything passing your lips!
Available in spots or zig-zag patterns
The Immaculate Eggception bath bomb ($11.95)
Hollow eggs these are – with double-layered wall and a surprise inside. Just like a Kinder Surprise!! Surprise!
Crack the outer layer bubble bar and ballistic mix to reveal either a mini chick or bunny ballistic inside. You can then throw the outer eggshell and its inhabitant into the bathtub and enjoy!
A blend of vanilla absolute, lemon and grapefruit scented soak.
There are two colours to choose from, the yellow egg with green decoration contains the bunny; while the pink egg with yellow or blue decoration contains the chick.
You can either break this to pieces and use them separately for over three baths or use a whole one all at once.
Shall we hop along to Lush shops this coming April 3rd to meet these glorious little goodies!? Why not!? :)
